Dial - UP!!! will not get my eMail

I am usually connected via a wireless router and ADSL.

I set up a dial-up connection "just in case" and tested it working on the internet - SLOOOOWLY.

BUT when I try eMail, it fails to connect and times out.

Perhaps it needs more than a minute but I feel that settings need changed - but what?

Hi,

Slow connections often hinders opening different servers. In this case, your eMail gets a time-out.. since you can access it smoothly on your wireless connection, but not on your dial up connection, it only shows that the problem causing it is in your dial up connection. Try using the dial up during off peak hours (when only a few people are connected to the dial up network provider) if you successfully access your eMail during this off peak hours, then I think we've figured out you're problem here..
